WATER SAFETY

Water is one of the most hazardous areas that we operate around in an outdoor environment, it is important that outdoor practitioners, construction crews, search & rescue teams, expedition leaders and teachers have a high level of awareness and training in operating around water, as well as the skills and knowledge to rescue people from water safely.

Our water safety courses, endorsed and certificated by Atlantic Crest, and based on years of experience of water safety and rescue, are the most comprehensive and upto date water safety programmes available. James Dyer is a member of the Aquatic Safety Qualification faculty at Atlantic Crest and has many years experience of teaching water safety and rescue, as well as building safe managemnt programmes to keep people safe around water on expeditions around the world.

Course involves theoretical and practical sessions, scenario based learning, in water rescue training and assessment.
